heritage WALk

The Heritage Walk will be a town‑wide trail of blue plaques and murals that map our club’s great moments, characters and places – from the Drill Hall to Holker Street, from shipyard stories to cup ties that lit up the town. Each stop links by QR code to film, audio and articles on this site, and the route sits inside the Dock Museum’s app so you can walk, run or cycle it with family and friends.

It’s about inclusion and discovery: every neighbourhood has a chapter, every supporter has a voice. As the trail grows, schools and visitors can use it to learn, keep active and see how Barrow AFC and Barrow‑in‑Furness are inseparable – then and now.
